We recognize that Jesus the Christ is the source of our faith; our worship, study, ministry, and mission will always be guided by this centering truth.

We believe in the priesthood of every believer.

We believe in the autonomy of the local church, recognizing that Christ is always the head of the church.

We believe in a free church in a free state and commit ourselves to preserve the separation of church and state.

We believe in soul competence, that each person must be encouraged to interpret his/her own experience of the revelation of God; no creed will be accepted as a substitute for this free exercise of faith.

We recognize and treasure the gifts of the ministers called to lead our fellowship, while understanding that we all have unique gifts and are called to ministry. 

We believe that leadership of the church is open to persons of either gender who are affirmed by the congregation.

We believe that grace and forgiveness are the standards by which we relate to one another.  

We commit ourselves to relevance in worship, study, ministry and mission to serve the world in need.

We believe that worship should take place in an atmosphere of holiness, reverence, and dignity.
 
We believe that God’s love is expressed in sacrificial giving, and commit to a stewardship of all that we are and have; and,

As an inclusive community of grace, we embrace into our fellowship all persons regardless of age, gender, social class, denominational background, or race.
