As members of this community of peace, our calling is to love all people and live by the example Jesus set. We are here by choice to minister to one another and worship together in this space. We strive to live the Scripture: “There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28, NRSV).We are all equal in the eyes of God, so are we equal in this congregation. As followers of this revelation, we joyfully affirm to:

  • embrace the redemptive love of God and community;

  • love and serve our neighbors and friends as Jesus loves and serves us;

  • recognize our mutual equality and honor our unique and diverse gifts with which we honor the church and each other;

  • commit ourselves to grow and open our minds to the greater understanding of our faith;

  • recognize that everyone’s faith experience is personal and sacred;

  • value the lives and well-being of others and devote ourselves to do justice and love mercy; and

  • travel together humbly in the sight of God and be an example of God’s grace to all.
